Project Overview
A customer in Egypt planned to build a talc powder processing plant for producing fine talc powder used in industries such as plastics, paper, coatings, rubber, and fillers. The customer required stable powder fineness, low dust emission, and continuous operation.
Based on the customer’s target fineness and production capacity requirements, Daswell Powder designed a complete 1t/h talc powder production line. It is capable of producing D97=10 microns talc powder with stable particle size distribution and efficient operation.

According to customer’s requirements, we supplied a complete production line including: pre-grinding system, grinding mill, classifier, pneumatic conveying system, and dust collector.
Pre-grinding System
The raw talc first enters the jaw crusher machine for primary crushing to reduce the large material size.
Then the materials pass through a hammer crusher for secondary crushing. It ensures a suitable feeding size for the grinding system. Proper pre-crushing helps improve grinding efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and maintain stable feeding to the mill machine.
Grinding and Classifying
After crushing, the talc material is fed into the ball mill grinding system. The ball mill performs fine grinding. And the turbo classifier precisely controls the particle size distribution. Fine qualified powder is collected as the finished product, while coarse particles are returned to the ball mill machine for regrinding through a closed-loop system.
Powder Packing System
The finished talc powder is automatically packed through a powder packing machine. It improves packing efficiency and weighing accuracy while reducing labor intensity.
Pneumatic Conveying System and Dust Collection System
To ensure stable powder transportation and maintain a clean production environment, Daswell Powder integrated a pneumatic conveying system and dust collection system into the talc powder production line.
The pneumatic conveying system transfers fine talc powder efficiently through enclosed pipelines between grinding, classification, and finished powder collection stages. Meanwhile, the dust collection system is installed at key points such as crushing, grinding, classification, and conveying sections to effectively capture fine powder and reduce material loss.
With the combination of enclosed powder conveying and efficient dust removal, the system helps improve production continuity, reduce dust pollution, maintain workshop cleanliness, and support stable plant operation.
