Project Overview

Following the successful operation of the previously installed calcium carbonate grinding plant in Minya, Daswell Powder Tech. supplied an additional DR-28 ring roller grinding plant for the same customer once again.

On March 10, 2026, the new system was installed and commissioned at the customer’s other production site. It continues the long-term cooperation between Daswell Powder and this calcium carbonate powder producer in Egypt.

Project Information

As the third largest ground calcium carbonate (GCC) producer in Egypt, the customer continues to expand their production capacity to meet increasing demand for ultrafine calcium carbonate powder in the local and international markets.

The project is designed to process calcium carbonate raw materials and produce ultrafine GCC powder with a fineness of D97 = 10μm, achieving a production capacity of 3 t/h.

Since the beginning of cooperation in 2015, the customer has continuously expanded their production capacity with Daswell Powder equipment and has now purchased six grinding systems, including four DR-28 ring roller mills installed across multiple production sites.

Packing

Finally, the ground powder is collected by the dust collection system and transported through a pneumatic conveying system to the finished product silo for storage and automatic bagging.
