Vertical Mill

Vertical Mill

Daswell vertical mill integrates grinding, drying, and classification for large-scale production of ultrafine mineral powders (D97 10-150 µm).

It delivers high capacity, 30-50% energy savings, and stable quality for paints, plastics, and polymers.

The ultra-fine vertical mill is a large-scale grinding solution. It is designed for the continuous production of ultrafine mineral powder. It integrates grinding, drying, classifying, and conveying into one compact system. It is ideal for producers seeking high efficiency, reduced operating costs, and consistent ultrafine powder quality.

This equipment is widely used for producing ultrafine calcium carbonate, limestone, barite, calcite, kaolin, gypsum, and other non-metallic mineral powders.

Working Principle

Raw material is fed onto the rotating grinding table, where it is evenly distributed by centrifugal force.

Material is ground between the grinding rollers and table through compression and shear.

The ground powder is carried upward by hot airflow into the high-efficiency built-in classifier:

  • Qualified fine particles are collected as the finished product
  • Coarse particles are returned for re-grinding
  • Heavy impurities are automatically discharged

This internal circulation system ensures stable fineness, high grinding efficiency, and uniform product quality.

Features

High grinding efficiency: It has a higher output per grinding pass. The optimized roller and liner profiles promote stable material layer formation and efficient ultrafine grinding.

High capacity with energy savings: It has lower power consumption per ton of powder. Its capacity can reach up to 50t/h. Compared with conventional mills, the energy consumption can be reduced by 30%-50% when producing the same fineness.

Low maintenance design: It can reduce your downtime and maintenance cost. The hydraulic roller swing-out structure enables easy maintenance. And the reversible roller sleeves and wear-resistant liners extend service life.

Environmental and low-noise operation: This vertical mill machine can operate cleanly. The sealed negative-pressure operation combined with the pulse collection minimizes dust emission and noise.

High automation level: You can get stable operation with reduced labor input. This mill machine is equipped with PLC automatic control system for centralized monitoring and remote operation.

Stable powder quality: It ensures consistent ultrafine powder quality. Short material residence time reduces over-grinding. The finished powder shows uniform particle shape, narrow size distribution, and high purity.
