Working principle

The jaw crusher works through a driving-extrusion mechanism. It crushes materials between a fixed jaw plate and a movable jaw plate. The machine consists of a frame, eccentric shaft, bearing, flywheel, toggle plate, and high-manganese jaw plates.

  • There are a fixed jaw plate and a movable jaw plate inside the machine. They form a deep crushing cavity. The stone materials can enter for primary size reduction.
  • The motor will drive the pulley, which rotates the eccentric shaft. This motion causes the movable jaw to rise and fall in a repeated cycle.
  • When the movable jaw moves upward, it approaches the fixed jaw. The cavity will be narrower. Then the materials will be squeezed, compressed, and crushed under high pressure.
  • When the movable jaw moves downward, it moves away from the fixed jaw, the cavity will be wider. The crushed particles, which is smaller than the discharging opening, will fall out naturally by gravity.
