Turbo Coating Machine

Turbo Coating Machine

The turbo coating machine ensures efficient powder surface modifications for your powder processing plant.

It utilizes high-speed vortex mixing, achieving uniform coating, low modifier consumption, and stable continuous production.

Daswell Powder’s turbo coating machine is an advanced solution for ultra-fine powder surface modification. It is widely used for calcium carbonate powder processing, talc powder production, and some other mineral powders. It adopts high-speed vortex impact mixing technology, atomizing coating agents, and distributing them evenly on powder particle surfaces. This improves dispersion, hydrophobicity, and application performance significantly. This machine is specially designed for continuous, stable operation.

Especially, compared with the three-roller type coating machine, it requires lower stearic acid consumption while delivering the same coating performance. For your large-scale powder coating requirements, it helps reduce your operating costs.

Working Principle

It consists of a frame, housing, stator, rotor, feeding hopper, bearing assembly, and motor.

The turbo coating machine from Daswell Powder operates by combining high-speed vortex impact, ultrafine grinding, and efficient surface modification in a single system.

  • The fine mineral powder will enter the modifying machine from the top. It will be pre-crushed by the upper rotor cover before entering the main machine.
  • Then, the material will be directed into the comminution zone between the stator and rotor. This zone is specially designed with a conical structure. It creates a stable ventilation and strong vortex airflow.
  • Driven by centrifugal force and suction, the particles are accelerated toward the rotor blades at high speed. These continuous impacts, shear, and particle-to-particle collision enable ultrafine grinding. Meanwhile, the modifier is dispersed uniformly onto the powder surface.
  • The high-speed rotor generates intense vortex mixing, ensuring efficient atomization of the coating agent and high coating uniformity.+

Features

High activation rate with low modifier consumption

The high-speed vortex impact stirring fully atomizes modifiers. The activation rate achieves over 98-99% with significantly reduced stearic acid usage.

Integrated ultrafine classification system

We offer you a classifier to remove agglomerated particles during modification. This ensures stable particle size distribution and consistent product quality.

Superior coating efficiency than three-roller machines

The turbo coating machine delivers higher activation rates than the three-roller coating equipment. And it consumes fewer coating agents at the same performance level.

Fully sealed, dust-free operation

Negative-pressure conveying and enclosed structures prevent dust leakage, ensuring a clean, environmentally friendly production environment.

High-speed, wear-resistant core rotor

We manufacture rotors with advanced German technology, which reaches 115m/s line speed. They offer excellent wear resistance and long service life.

Continuous, high-capacity production

It is mainly designed for continuous operation with a large processing capacity. For your industrial calcium carbonate coating lines, this is an ideal choice. It has a small additive dosage and a stable output.
